I can't believe this guy went undrafted. He's a DE from Texas, 5 star #2 DE from the 2010 class. He had 13 sacks last year. 21 TFL in 2011 as a Sophomore. He's had some injuries, but I can't believe this guy went undrafted. The Seahawks might have gotten a huge steal. I'm more excited about him than most of the draft picks.

These NFL GM's are unbelievable. I don't know how a guy who is a 3 year starter in the Big 12 with 13 sacks his senior year goes undrafted, injury issues or not. Maybe he won't be a good NFL player, but it's still weird to me. There are a lot of shitty players taken.

He was also the Big 12 defensive player of the year and a 1st team All American. He also had a shit ton of tackles in addition to the sacks. Seems like a complete player.

Stupefying that he wasn't even drafted.

Dallas took the DE from Boise in the second round. That guy was nowhere to be found against UW during that game last season. I'd take Jeffcoat for sure over the Boise DE.

Yeah I was shocked to see Jeffcoat went undrafted. Apparently the knock on him is he's terrible against the run (I guess it's more the fact that he was coached by Mack Brown), but so was Cliff Avril and as soon as he got to Seattle that issue went away.
 
Mack Brown just produced the first Texas team since 1937 to have ZERO draft picks. How is that even possible?

No wonder they ran his fucking ass.
 
I haven't checked but I read today that no Texas players were drafted. If true then apparently over the past four or five years, the Texas coaches failed to develop the top HS talent they were getting.

Maybe the hawks think they can have a plan for this kid that helps him overcome the injury bug.
