Yes he woke up on third base and is bragging about getting a triple. The article wasn't that bad though.

I agree that this generation is the pussy generation though.
 
I agree with some of the article. Part of the reason why it is the pussy generation is because of the parents. The parents of these kids in their 20's-30's all preached going to college. Back in the day, graduating from college gave people a real leg up on their competition. Now, everybody goes to college. It's getting really hard to get into college too. I would love to see a comparison of UW's entrance requirements now compared to 20 years ago. People still feel their college degree entitles them to a good salary, but it's just not reality.

I am starting to believe that if you don't go to a school in the top 10%, you are wasting your time. An Ivy League or a Stanford degree will probably pay off in the long run, but a lot of colleges are a big scam. It's a good investment if you major in a high demand field and keep the debt down, but many rack up a shit load of debt for a job that doesn't pay enough to justify it. You aren't only getting in debt, you are wasting 4-5 years of building a resume with prior work history, not to mention making money instead of taking out loans that you will pay off for years.

The same parents also told them they were special and gave them trophies for coming in last place which is a huge part of the problem.

You can go to any college if you get a REAL degree.

Going to an average college to get a fucktarded liberal arts degree is the problem.

True, but @RoadDawg55‌ is correct, but there is a sense of entitlement some people get just because of a degree. At this point it feels like a college degree is starting to become little more than a HS diploma and a Masters is the new higher education. Not that the masters is any type of guarantee, I've got some consultants at work now with very expensive education and hardly an ounce of common sense between them.

In a social sense, they are totally pussies. This guy comes across as one of the people whose company was bailed out by....socialism for the rich, then turns around and tells others what to do. Wages/salaries have stagnated or gone done for most professions and jobs, the wife usually has to work now, college loans are soaking people. He ignores all of that. Want to start a small business? It's not like demand is high for some of the reasons I mentioned. But loansharking is good business right now. This is mostly just simplistic platitudes. Yes, I am a pussy liberal arts major, but facts are facts.

This has gotten really bad, but it's newer than people in their 20's and 30's. In my little league glory days, it was pretty competitive. I never played a sport where they didn't keep score, even when I was 5 or 6 years old. When I was 9 and 10, there were kids who didn't get off the bench unless it was a blowout. If it was a close game, they wouldn't play. They would cry and their moms would complain, but it didn't change a thing.

It's a mess nowadays. I went to a cousin's basketball game a few years ago. These kids were 13 and 14 years old. After the first quarter, the score would be changed to tied no matter what. Every kid had to play at 4 minutes per half. At halftime, the losing team would be put ahead by 2 points. After the third quarter, the game would be tied again. It was some really whacky shit, and I have no idea how they came up with these rules, let alone nobody had a problem with it. I yelled at my aunt for allowing him to play in such a shitty league and she told me it was actually AAU basketball. I'm still mad about it when I think about it.

These are very true. I don't believe in working hard simply for the sake of working hard. I do think this generation is smarter in a way than old ones because of that. Don't work hard to make peanuts and get fucked being a cog in the wheel. Too many people work their ass off their entire life, and for what? They grind away at a shitty job because of the security instead of betting themselves and learning new skills that may open them to a better job. Work hard when you know you can move up, grow, and get better opportunities. Work hard when you find something you enjoy doing. There's no point being miserable to work your ass off at a shitty job.

Part of why I do have a problem with older people preaching about why it was so much harder back in the day is because it is irrelevant. There were also fucktards from every generation. Older people have turned their nose at the younger generation for a long, long time. That's great that you had to walk 3 miles in the snow to go to school everyday, but if you had a better alternative, you wouldn't have done that. The old man might hate technology, thinks it is ruining the world, but if you don't embrace it, you're falling behind.
 
Absolutely agree with the idea that those claiming that they walked uphill 3 miles in the snow both way are fucktarded as well.

There are things we do better today than the previous generation. Same will be true of the next generation and the generation after that.

But one of the values from the older generation is that it's hard to earn anything without hard work. That very much is true.

A lot of people think that there's just blind luck in the world. Luck is really working your ass off, giving yourself an opportunity, and being prepared to execute when the opportunity presents itself.

Clint seems to have an obvious, recurring thing for dealing with "pussy entitlement" issues.
