You still have plenty of idiots lefist here blaming capitalism and rich people for this. The rich drove of the cost of a place to live and that forced people to live in the streets and to steal in order to survive. SF Bay Area has much of the available open space locked up. You can't build on the land. But talk to most idiot leftists and they'll never acknowledge what that does to the price of housing. It's the evil "rich" people who have driven up the price of real estate.
