Very cool. It was still cool 10-12 years after inception when I discovered it.
 
The opening theme music sent the tone for the coming danger to Johnny and Crew. What red blooded American boy of that time didn't watch F'n Johnny Quest.? Besides the ones we tossed the ball to in our favorite football game.
 
Speed Racer was also really cool.

Hated it. Speed could be hundreds and hundreds of miles behind in the race but still be able to catch up easily to the evil race leader, but then have trouble passing him.

I don't remember analyzing the reality of the race as much as i liked the cool race cars.
 
Fun fact. The voice of Johnny Quest grew up and went to Faber College and become the Delta House Rush Chairman Eric Stratton.
