One of my best friends is a professional gambler, real jewish number cruncher type, and he has exploited the flaws in traditional coach strategy for a long time now.

His biggest gripes are with NBA teams sitting star players for big amounts of time when they are in foul trouble and not going for it on 4th down.

There are only so many seconds in a game, the crunch time moments are not more important than the opening ticks.

Me too. They should be punting on 3rd down.
