that is one of the worst articles I've ever read. saying you aren't worried about Oregon and are solely focused on improving your team is a bad thing?

Yucking it up on the sidelines during a loss is unbecoming, but it's not exactly giving a teammate a black eye or refusing to play when called upon.

I'm not thrilled about that information, but I don't think it warrants sending one of your best players door. ass. out.
 
I agree with @dnc‌, but that is fucked up. I love Peters, but there's a LOT of Sark left in this team. Fucking Shaq was taking pictures with Arik Armstead and Bralon Addison after the game.

They're in our head and I don't think we give a fuck about being great. I think it's been instilled in our team that excuses are fine and offseason Nattys are good enough. Peenerman is going to have to change that. It'll take a while.

The look on Peterman's face and his post game talk said he gets it. The duct tape failed early tonight and he knows this is a complete rebuild.

Peters hasn't once bought into what this new coaching staff has wanted. Changing culture doesn't work when 95% are pulling on the rope in one direction and the rest are pulling in another.

I don't want a team who says they have to be like Oregon or Stanford. I want WASHINGTON DAMMIT.

 
Even I thought the article sucked ass. Every Husky player, as well as Peterman, was just doing the "focus on us and what we can control" thing that winning teams do. If the UW were to come out and admit that they were focused on Oregon then that opens up two bad things: (1) it's a loser attitude; (2) if you focus on us and still lose then the team could fall apart entirely.
