The XFL should just go all in with WWE. I'm not saying mix WWE segments with real football. I mean have scripted football games. Where people tackle other players with powerbombs, stunners, rock bottoms, etc. They could then have outside interference, crooked refs, etc.

It could be like that old video game "NFL Blitz"

You could also have the occasional heel turn, where a player sabotages his own team and switches sides. Kind of like what Crisp does, but have a little bit more intent behind it.
