hasn't been falling all over himself in praise of this team. He knows what a good, tough minded team looks like and this isn't one. At least not yet. But he's coaching this first year with inherited talent (and character) and anybody who didn't figure it would take at least a season to beat the Sark out the team is pretty naive and/or a dumbfuck.

I don't get how one game is enough to write off a guy with a 93-12 record. There are so many coaches that started off at lower tier schools that went on to be successful. Very few coaches start off coaching Alabama, Texas, or USC for their first head coaching job. Trying to write off Petersen's success at Boise State is unbelievably fucking stupid. Almost every coach has to work his way up through D-1aa and mid majors, except for slick guys like Sark I guess. The thing about Petersen is, there's about a .001% chance he does worse than seven win Steve. There's probably about a 4.99% he does the same, and there's a 95% chance he does better.

I have always believed that his "u" and "r" bullshit are means to try to mask his identity. I'm not saying I know who it is, but I am saying that he's mildly concerned about being outed.
