Adding Texas and OU gave the SEC enough women’s programs to make it an SEC sport. Previously Bama competed in the Big 12 for rowing I believe.

The only thing I remember about Germie is when he muffed the punt against Texas.
He also fumbled at the goal line against Arizona. Kept the game close and allowed for the onside kick that broke Romes ribs. I never forget.
