I like to be an acquaintance of a spree killer and when asked about said spree killer by the media say "Yup totally saw this coming" while never trying to alert somebody before the spree happens, it is what I like to do.

Ummm...the cops were alerted and they talked to him. The guy said he was cool, so the cops said, good enough for us, have a nice day.
