Here’s the thing.

It’s NOT standard of care until the peer-reviewed research says it is. No one can just claim standard of care in the medical community because it’s what they believe in. Rigorous scrutiny and evaluation of all the available data is required to meet that threshold.

Just imagine if you treated all mental illness like the medical system treats alleged gender dysphoria. Oh your suicidal? Kill yourself. Oh you are hearing other voices on your head telling you to hurt someone? Go do it. Oh you are anorexic? Keep starving yourself.
