WTF is going om in Colorado. They threw the baby out with the bath water last year. But Holy Fuck....70+ incoming players. That culture is toxic.

They went 4-8 this year

They should be turning over their roster

"We" were 4-8 two years ago. Where would we be today if Kalen churned the roster like that? Granted, there are situations that warrant it, but it is apparent that recruiting wasnt't the problem, coaching and culture were the problems. He sold his plan and coached them up. Deboer didn't play the "wait till I get my guys in there" card, he filled the gaps and brought them together.

Prime can churn it every year, and it won't matter if he can't coach and develop them. If I'm a recruit or parent of one, and see that he is keeping 15 (roughly) returners, two of which are his sons, that would be a red flag for me...Sizzlers gonna Sizzle...

If you have to turn over your roster every year, hmmm, I don’t know, but maybe, just maybe, your coach sucks.

I saw an article where a recruits mom asked Prime if the CU program was sustainable if he left. Surprisingly honest answer for him to say no, it’s not.

I always trust my employees when they say they're irreplaceable.
