I know there are a couple here that like alternative helmets occasionally, imo they should be used rarely. The purple helmets fiasco of Lambo was ground zero of the uniform debacle, Rick won over many fans including myself bringing back the gold helmets.

Ground Zero was Don James rolling out the all purple uniforms vs Colorado in 1989 and after getting steamrolled he said "never again"
