Optimistic point of view is the D held them to 1 TD off of 4 turnovers.

Pessimistic point of view is their offense sucks and they also missed 2 FGs.
 
This defense vs last year is dare I say "night and day"?

Still not great but pretty solid at every position minus one of the cb spots. Just no freak athletes or game wreckers. The DE's have been a let down in that regard. Muhhamed has started to separate himself as our best player on that side of the ball.

If the offense can prove last week was not a trend that should be good enough to win the conference and get to a playoff game. Offense was a machine until last week.

Looks like we underrated Kirkland, Luciano, and Bainivalu inside. Losing Mele, Memelaar, and Buelow didn't help.
 
I actually read the article - I was surprised on 5/17 for ASU on 3rd downs. Listening to the pod, it sounded like ASU made every 3rd down play. They did give up a couple of 4th downs but also scored a TD off one
