Except faster. He's quite fast for his size. I think he could be useful. It doesnt change the obvious, which is that boner is at least as inept as Gregory as a recruiter. This guy could have been a good late addition to fill an opening on the roster, but he appears to be the feature RB in the class and he's simply not qualified to be that at a school expecting to be in the national conversation.

Coleman was killing it in 2016. There were times I was yelling for the coaches to put Coleman in. It’s not that outrageous.

Yeah, if there's one thing Washington doesn't need in its new pro-style, air-raid, aggressive, four-H-back offense, it's Chris Polk, Bishop Sankey, Myles Gaskin, or Napoleon Kaufman.

The Huskies lose to Arizona and don't make the playoffs without Coleman in 2016, but we're still talking about sitting your school's all-time leading rusher behind him. Wanting Coleman to get more carries in 2016 while watching in 2016 is defensible. With the benefit of hindsight, though, wishing Gaskin were second string to anybody on the roster in the Petersen era is asinine.

I always found Coleman too inconsistent. He was amazing at times, with quickness, vision and power. Other times he was hesitant, slow and indecisive, and didnt break tackles. I think he was a good platoon back that you could give a few carries to see how he looked on a given day. If he looked good you could ride him. If he didn't then he needed a quick hook.

There were games he was our best back. That’s nothing against Gaskin, but if you switched them, we would have gotten the same results. Our OL and Dissly/Sample were destroying everyone but Alabama and USC.

Agree. Coleman got tripped up at the LOS too often. He was not a short yardage guy, they depended on Myles for that because of his better balance and instincts. Despite his size he was not really a power back.

Coleman disappeared against top level competition. Gaskin did not. Watch the Penn St, Fiesta Bowl, tell me you would rather have Coleman out there over Gaskin. No way. Myles is the only reason we were in that game.

Many examples like that. Gaskin also had far better value as a pass catcher.

Watch the Rose Bowl vs. tOSU. Tell me Coleman would do what Gaskin did. He wouldn't.
