How to break the bad news to Trojan fans...?

So I went to USC for grad school, and am on a group text with several of my former classmates (all who were USC for undergrad and grad). These people are fucking convinced Sark is going to take them to the natty, as soon as this year. They have bought into the hype balls deep. Do I break the news to them now that Sark is Lane with an uglier wife, or let it play out?
 
Just enjoy it I say... Let them believe it, and when the melt down happens it will be that much greater.

On the other hand, you could say so now, and when the meltdown happens you will get credit for calling it.

Either way, interesting.
 
I prefer to let stupid find it's own way in the dark.
 
As a grad school alum, you're not invested in U$C's success like your undergrad/grad buddies who are fully invested.

You could TRY to convince them, but they won't believe you anyway and you'll be stuck with the nega-trooj label.

Instead, it's better to sit back, LIPO, enjoy the pure comedy of Sark trying to figure out what the hell he is doing, celebrate the offseason natty's, and then somewhere in Year 2-3 start puffing our your chest a bit when your buddies are sitting back wondering what is wrong.

The other thing that you can do is make some bucks off your buddies by taking the other side of USC in any important road game and in particular when Sark wanders up to Seattle in a few years.
 
If anything you should tell them how Sark does it the right way and that 2014 will be special.

USC will be my favorite team to watch this season.

-He steps out of the bar occasionally to smoke a cigarette between games of Golden Tee
-He has probably been laid in his early twenties, but hasn't come close in 8-10 years
-Sometimes he gets a fellow GRCC alum to meet him at the bar and that is what he calls "going out"

You break the news how I did to my cousin who just graduated from SC: "Thanks for taking our horrible fucking coach off our hands. Sizzle On!"
 
make some aww shucks type bets by taking the points from your friends for every single USC game.

Tell them they got Sarked! The dumb ones will say, "Hell yeah! We got Sark!" The average ones will say LIPO. The smart ones will ask Derek for their own forum on this site.
