Hillary Clinton, in a television interview Tuesday, rejected the idea that Democrats should be “civil” with Republicans in the age of Donald Trump, embracing a more confrontational and aggressive political approach.

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about,” Clinton said.

The social contract is broken.

States function with far greater efficiency and cohesion than the fucked up federal government. Burn it all to the ground. A common currency and mutual defense is all that is left to protect. The Constitution supports this, as anyone who likes beer, and has always like beer would acknowledge.
 
Me personally? I like a good fight. Maybe it's the pretend lawyer in me, but the adversarial system tends to produce the best in all of us.

How do you do that? Well, you figure out a way to fucking win!!!

There are two things about Hillary I like and admire, and you can all fuck off if you don't like it: she is legitimately very fucking bright, and by accident of what I do for a living, bright people are easier to deal with; and she has big brass balls. The chick knows how to fight. She's a terrible campaigner and she knows it. She is terribly unrelatable and she can't make a good poker face when dealing with people who are not at her level. She's admitted as much.

But in a dark alley fight with no rules? I want that cankle closet carpet chewer bitch on my side.

Trump will fix it. If only his detractors would show some respect for working class issues — tariffs, the Canadian national security threat, China currency manipulation, Chinese political interference, farm bill subsidies, etc. Then we could get on to important shit like civility.

Furthermore, If only there was a self righteous douchebag with a BS in economics that posts regularly on HH who could define the “progressive” term of “rent seeking.” That would really help right now.

Finally, it’s now the mexico, us, Canada trade agreement. Not the North America trade agreement. Huge difference.
