How Billionaires Took Over CFB

I won’t watch one minute of college basketball until the elite 8.
The most painful fact about losing the natty last year, it would have been the perfect ending to my all-in Husky Fandom that began in the early 60s. I could have wrapped a bow on being a die hard dawg. Like many, I don’t enjoy this free agent, portal, bags of cash, end of west coast football PAC. It’s all a money grab with tv networks pulling all the strings. “Not for this fan”
YouTube suggested me some of the hype videos of 2023 and got me thinking this too. Really felt like the last gasp of college football. That Michigan team included as well.
You think that Michigan team wasn't bought?

How NIL Money Made Michigan’s Football Program Even Stronger
Huh? I don't live in a world where I don't think both Michigan and UW weren't paying plenty in NIL, especially to get guys to come back who otherwise could have went to the NFL and for some glue pieces in the portal. The majority of the big pieces for those programs had played together for years though and the lynchpins outside of Penix weren't transfers. Penix is also a unique case because he wasn't a coveted piece in the portal and had a connection to the coaching staff.
I certainly feel those two teams will feel especially not bought in sold compared to teams that get that far as we move on.
Ohio State this year had a decent chunk of guys who had been there for a long time like JTT and Emeka.

If this makes you feel good, I'm not the guy to try and take that away. We're good.

eh. not too much. Isn't this the account that simps for Oregon and Miami? I would be insecure on the subject too.

you’re barking up wrong tree Kimosabe. I’ve been to therapy and don’t do this anymore. didn’t figure you for the that stripe of poster, but that’s alright.

nice cheap shot on my Canes, though a little gratuitous. but 20+ year dips happen. you should know. at least they have a natty since the turn of the century … albeit right at the turn.

Ha. Hell yeah. I just had a dream that a cycling podcast came to kick my ass because I talked shit about cyclists on the Hardcore Husky Podcast so here we are. My therapist told to get divorced so they're great.
I think college football is better when the Canes are good so I kind of hope they can get their shit together after they fire Criscoball and knock off the overpaying mercenary shit for out of region guys.
