I question Memphis being above "us" with their signature win being a bad Arky team at home by 1, and we all know the SEC is overrated year in and year out. Other than that, I don't think it's vastly unfair like BYU being voted first after beating a bad Michigan team in the Holiday Bowl pre-Xmas.

I honestly don’t care about being ranked, it’s the fact that last week the Big Ten had 4 and the SEC had 10. This week it’s 9 vs 3. TEN of 16 teams or 62.5% of their conference was ranked in the top 25.
I lived and died for the ranking each week in the paper as a kid. With the playoffs it become a different animal. Let’s not forget the SEC only has 8 conference games vs 9
