8pm would be for Fox to show the plungering on national TV.
3:30 is CBS unless there is some random chance Peacock takes the game.
(supposedly the 4 open slots are 12:30 NBC, 3:30 CBS, 3:30 on the Cock, and 8pm Fox). Fox and NBC swapped spots because of a Notre Dame 7:30pm home game.
I am on record as expecting 3:30 on CBS so we can travel home for a short week the subsequent week, but given this season, fuck it, get all the bullshit scheduling out now in exchange for better in future years. Either way it will be interesting and I'll be inebriated
