I don't think that is why the judge overturned it. It was because the NFL had not informed Brady of the competitive rules policy and therefore could not use it to suspend him.
 
If I was running the Patriots marketing department, Tom Brady autographed deflated footballs would have gone on sale 10 minutes after the ruling.
 
This morning on the national sports show on 1090 (the one with Tiki Barber and that other guy) they were talking about this and took a call from Washington state.

"Yeah, thanks guys. Hey, if I'm an NFL coach today, I'm calling a special meeting today with my players and telling them to cheat. Cheat in every way possible to get us a win because the NFL just showed us that there will be no punishment."

Reminded me of a certain message board meltdown following the news of iregon'S punishment.

True. That was even worse.
 
The phone stuff with Brady was incredibly FS. Why would the NFL have any right to go through his phone? And to think he destroyed it because of deflategate is speculation. He could have a million things he wouldn't want them to see. Cheating on his wife with whores, fights with his wife, any shady business deals, a sick kid, etc.
