When I interviewed Joe Steele, he said that his fumble on the 30-yard line in the final minutes still haunts him to this day.
My dad took my grandpa to that game and I had to stay home and listen on the radio. It took me years to forgive papa.
He brought home that game program, which I had for years before somehow it got lost.
I flew back from Oklahoma to see the Bear at unremodeled and unexpanded Husky Stadium. Talk about a hot ticket
