I believed it that we were in it with him because I think I remember quotes from him like this about how UW had a good legacy at TE, long-term and short-term, and that shit is pretty rare to hear from a recruit's camp. Also remember people pointing out his mom followed a bunch of right wing shit on Twitter and hearing she wasn't gonna want him to go live in Seattle.
