I'm at a brewery, there's few people here obviously but it's the place with an entire wall of medals. There's no other brewery in the entire area with this amount of accolades. All types, from oatmeal stouts to lagers.

These 2 immigrant looking guys walk in and do the usual thing where they ask about the beer and drink shot samples.

I've never ever seen it where they take multiple samples of everything and then just say 'no not good enough' and then leave. The owner is running the register and is a shocked as I am right now. Hilarious shit. They need to stop offering samples, but then again they want to charge $8 a beer.

You have to be pretty morally bankrupt to not but, at least, a pint or 2.
 
No, but when froyo was all the rage and I lived in East Hollywood a couple of times I was in places where homeless guys came in and stuck their heads under the machines and starting feasting on the sweet, sweet froyo. My two local Starbucks' were ones closed down a few years ago when the company closed ones they said were too dangerous basically to operate.

I’ve been to many breweries but don’t think I’ve ever seen this happen. My sample protocol is simple, I find 2-3 beers that look good and ask for a sample of the most promising. If it’s good, I get it; if not I move to the next but if I’m putting a bartender through that effort, I’m buying a pint regardless.

Everyone reading this thread has an idea of what these two guys looked and sounded like, and everyone would be correct.

Pretty blatant and pathetic that they didn't go into the dive bar next door where the bartender wouldn't play that shit. Walked into a brewery with just a tasting room and then walked out and got in their car and left.
 
If you're going to a brewery you should know your beer well enough to just order a pint. Or just buy flights if you wanna hop around on styles. Sometimes the bartender will offer a taster if I ask what they recommend and it's a spot I've not been to before.
