I had thought they would do geographical divisions which in a normal world is what makes sense. One of the problems is you end up with the problem they already had with Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State all being in the same division, though with the west coast schools now they would end up playing a real team and not Northwestern or Iowa for the "championship" each year.
UW really squandered the chance to get great exposure and make a splash in year one in the Big 10. Should be 5-0 with Game Day and a very beatable Michigan team coming to town.
Already seeing call outs to just make the 24+ team professional version of college football and then it just depends on if UW gets included or not. Losing to the Coug and Rutgers isn't good for that.
