Derek visits with CoronaBruin about the late PurpleJ's experiences through the years at Hardcore Husky. Corona loves the Bruins and thinks they'll win their Sun Bowl matchup, even if he has no idea whom they'll be playing. I laughed the hardest over J trolling the ONE year UW didn't suck at baseball and made it to the college world series, and he took on the BULLDOG persona.

We lost to a beavlet team (champ) that had a child molester (or was forced to plea as that) as their ace. Huge deal in Portland at the time.

Can't make any of that up.

No it’s not made up and Softy had a segment where he explored the idea of what if the Mariners drafted him. Shameful.

You gotta understand, Portland is a Beaver town, not a duck town. They made the whole thing as complicated as they possibly could from a reporting standpoint, because they thought there was a good chance OSU would win the world series, and they did.

And for what it’s worth @coronabruin, I’d meet you in the alley behind the Taki Tiki to smoke weed and talk shit…

…I mean, I’d also have my friends periodically check on me every few minutes to make sure I wasn’t murdered and my body thrown into a dumpster, but still!

I love me some PurpleJ. The only part that was awkward was his insistence that PurpleJ is dead and that he is now Coronabruin. But PurpleJ is a legend. So I had to interview him as Coronabruin discussing PurpleJ. Difficult to keep straight
