I think it was somehow worse than opening his eyes. His helmet was covering his eyes.

They should have checked his helmet sooner. He was something like 3-20 passing in that game. Maybe he would've gone 9-20 if he could see.

I think you’re confusing the 1st game vs Nebraska that year when he was 4/20 or 4/21 to the bowel game.
