Guns In Hawaii

Somebody in the military wanting to disarm the citizens.

Color me shocked

This thread delivered.

I was stationed at Schofield Barracks from 2007-2011, with some excursions to deserty places.

I still own a place in Haole Kai

Strangely enough, there are quite a few guns in Hawaii. Every new firearm there must be registered with a state registry, and there are some other rules that you have to comply with - but even with plenty guns, the state has the lowest gun violence rate in the nation.

Imagine that.

Those numbers don't include all the people who killed themselves in the foot.

"Hawaii and the District of Columbia are the only areas in the U.S. that require registration of all firearms, which means that it’s easier to track the trends surrounding firearms ownership here than in other states."

As any NRA and Gun Lobby shill will tell anybody willing to listen, they're fucked in Hawaii. As soon as Hitler takes over, the first thing he's gonna do is go to the homes of the registered gun owners and confiscate all of their "arms".
