I know that @dflea and Highway to Hell is the real winner, but I'm a sucker for Talk Box riffs and Joe Walsh is the master here.
Let it be known I voted for an Eagles song.Nice list
It's the clear choice. They are the Alabama of riffs from 1976 to 81.I hate to pick the obvious one, but…
Yeah, probably should have made the cut if I only did 1 VH and 1 AC/DC.H2H will be the runaway winner. Shout out to a scrappy upstart that should've made the final cut...Message in a Bottle.
Agreed. Hundred billion castaways looking for a home.H2H will be the runaway winner. Shout out to a scrappy upstart that should've made the final cut...Message in a Bottle.
let's not forget @YellowSnow hates chocolate people.
(Technically released in 1978 so he gets a pass here).

Sheesh. You can't hold my jock strap on the music of the late 70s and early 80s Green Lake Bruthas, pod-nuh.
My HS had one black kid out of 550 students. But still, my collection of jazz, blues, soul, funk is impressive.Dude. I went to a black high school and balled out. Boom box Parliament, Ohio Players and Confunktion accompanied every practice.let's not forget @YellowSnow hates chocolate people.

Boo! Dance the Night Away is top tier VH.VH2 is more party energy versus anthemic rock style stuff. "Beautiful Girls" is kind of a lame EVH riff track, but after re-listening this AM it is probably the most recognizable from a commercial standpoint.
VH2 might actually have the fewest huge commercial hit songs of all the DLR-era albums. I have not done that research, just spitballing here. ATBS, I love most of the VH2 album and play songs like "Outta Love Again" and "Somebody Get Me a Doctor" more often than tracks like "Unchained" or "Panama." I like AVH's drumming on VH2 more than any other of their albums (on the whole, not individual tracks).
"Dance the Night Away" sucks ass, though.
