An America where North Carolinians cannot appear on the West Virginia ballot isn't an America any of us want to live in.
 
Your quarrel is with West Virginia's 5-year residency requirement. You could always challenge it and argue it violates the US Constitution by adding additional eligibility requirements.

Otherwise, you're just bitching about an undeniably correct decision under WV law.
