I turned on my tv at 5am yesterday (because like someone else mentioned in another thread) it felt like Christmas morning.
I begrudgingly watched the game until halftime and it was basically over after each team had the ball twice. ND looked good their first drive but that was never sustainable. I believe Riley ran on their first drive 9 of 18 plays and he was gassed. I was actually surprised to see the final score looking on my phone until looking closer to see they scored meaningless points in the 4th.
In the end, the 12 team playoff as a viewer was significantly worse that the 4 team playoff imo.
The first drive was nothing short of dominant by ND and they were down 8 with a 3 and 11 deep in Ohio State territory with a few minutes left in the game so I it was from garbage points
I stand corrected then. I saw 31-7 in the 3rd quarter checking out the box score after the game and seeing the final score.
