He's right the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame has become a joke. Nothing can stop Inclusive Demographics, unless like Simmons points out, only one group has to be inclusive in this case. And this is sort of race based because hip-hop, but really it shouldn't be Rock n Roll is like the ultimate meritocracy in that either people like your shit or they don't.
Who among us doesn't get fired up for the first few bars of Cult of Personality? That is a Hall of Fame intro.

I looked up all the rappers in the HoF, and they are all good at their craft but most of them have no Rock n Roll ties. Part of the criteria should be playing an instrument or having a live band. Beastie Boys sort of bridged that (I know they are the white rappers so bad example) but if they are in any HoF it should be Hip Hop not Rock. I mean I like Missy Elliot as much as the next white middle-aged guy but to put her in the fucking Rock n Roll HALL OF FAME is criminal.
