The United States on Tuesday urged Ukraine to pick a credible top prosecutor to replace one sacked by President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling for action on corruption even as Kyiv battles Russian invaders.

"We join the people of Ukraine in emphasizing the importance of transparently appointing a highly qualified and truly independent successor as prosecutor general," State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters.

"The independence and impartiality of the prosecutor general is vital to ensuring the integrity of accountability efforts in Ukraine," he said.

I guess Biden gets impeached like Trump?

Don't forget that Putin helped daddy by waiting until Biden was president, except for the whole part about Putin invading in 2014 when Biden was VP. But anyway, Biden went toe to toe with Putin and prevented him from invading.

Putin's war machine is a lot more dangerous at $100 a barrel vs. $50 a barrel. Dems don't do math and hate the American working middle class and working man. Also would have been nice if barry, the dementia patient, Pelosi and Schumer joined Trump in demanding that the Euros get off Russian oil and gas. But like I said, the dems thought Trump was rude to mention that to the Euros. Can't have rude unless it is directed at Christians and conservatives.

Whatever Zelensky’s motivation, the move could have sweeping consequences for efforts to reinvigorate Jewish communities in Ukraine. Jewish leaders were already concerned that a looming financial crisis would reduce the capacity of wealthy Ukrainian Jews to build back up institutions that have been damaged by a mass exodus of Jews during the war. Now, the question may be whether those wealthy Ukrainian Jews remain Ukrainian at all.
