Funny story out of Eugene this morning

Their 4* RB commit Vavae Malepeai has been wanting to visit USC, but Oregon told him no and that if he did, they'd pull his scholarship offer. In order to make sure that he didn't visit, they set up a phone call to a land line in Hawaii for Saturday. That phone call happened, so they were relieved that he didn't visit.

Right after the phone call, Malepeai boarded a plane to visit USC. He called Oregon's bluff. Oregon isn't pulling his offer because they want to take a RB in the class, but now they're worried that he will sign with USC.

The other part that makes this awesome is that they were confident enough with Malepeai signing that they told Beau Bisharat that there wasn't any room for him because they had their RB already.
 
If he lied to Oregon coaches he gone.

Oregon shouldn't worry, they dont need him to sign his LOI, they have position coaches for that
 
Coach H doesn't budge with these type of things. Big integrity guy. If you can't see that Eugene is better than LA then Mark and Gary don't want you to join the O.
 
People in Eugene don't lie. Oregon recruiting is my wheelhouse.

Doubtful. He was a beast in the Army game. He seems like the type of RB DDY would Fap over.

I can't find any threads but I distinctly remember everyone thinking he looked slow and not understanding why he was rated highly when he didn't even stand out in his high school games.
