Last time the huskies went 5-0 to start the season was 21 years ago in 1992.
I think we actually match up against Stanford better this year than last year. The tree have improved their QB play, but have also switched away from TE-oriented passing game to a deeper attack on the edges of the field. I think our corners and safeties can defend this playing man and we will be able to contain the running game with Shelton and our strong linebacking core. I don't have a lot of confidence in us getting pressure on the QB so containing the QB and limiting long runs is the key to the game.
On offense, I think Sankey will get his yards and our WR core is pretty deep so I think we will move the ball.
I think it will be a very close game and a turnover here or there will tip the scales one way or another.
