There's a continuum between being 'trust-worthy' and 'lust-worthy'. We are pretty much exclusively playing the beta, trust-worthy strategy.

What CLIMPSUN can do is combine trust-worthy and lust-worthy to great effect, whereas Oregon is just lust-worthy.

In the end, alphas tend to want that Bruce Wayne signal. They want to wait until the end and see if you have the right game to close the deal.

We don't. I would like us to get it, but I doubt we will. As our brand builds slightly we might, but I mean - it's not likely to build very fast in that direction.

As such, we should really fucking try hard to figure out the formula we used on D this year and do that at all positions every year.

We just signed the best fucking D class in our history. We don't need to close better (it would be nice, but we are unlikely to), we need to MIDDLE better and hire some fucking guys on offense who can recruit.

Next year is a good in-state class and also deep for West Coast WR talent, in fact there are 10 uncommitted West Coast WRs in Rivals' rankings who are rated 4 stars or higher.
 
I mean we have players choosing to walk on over UCLA and the south champs.

Look, any problems can be easily fixed in free agency.

We easily recruit top WRs and they immediately fit into our offensive scheming and gameplaning, no reason to freak out.

Because good isn’t great and good isn’t good enough.

Because we offer something unique (ish) and should be able to identify the guys that this appeals to.

Because the pac is shit and immediate dominance will lay success for longer term, out of the pac dominance.

Had we landed toottoot and puka, pretty sure 81% of us would not be bitching about how teenagers decisions ruined the next 11 months of our lives.

Hate is a strong word. But his shtick and inability to get his teams prepared for big games is worn out with me. But he still hasn’t had a decent QB in 5 years, so axe me next January.
