I'd agree with you, but in retrospect, he fired Ty, got the Stadium Deal done, and ultimately hired Peterman. Being a lucky little hobbit with hairy feet might be better than being a Rhodes Scholar, lawyer, and former player. Woody was reaching when he hired Sark, Haden walked into that mess with eyes wide open.
