One of the mid-2000s teams won the B1G but the Rose was hosting the BCS title that year so PSU won the Orange. Think it was JoePa vs Bobby B.

I think the only other year they’ve made it was 2016 when Sam Darnold lived for moments like these.

PSU won the BIG10 in 2005 and 2008. 05 was the Orange bowl against FSU and 08 was the Rose bowl against USC.
