Fox Sports: Washington Huskies president has absurd idea that restricts player rights

franchising players? He does realize the professional players who are franchised get the average top 5 salary at their position, it's supposed to compensate both sides.
giving special restrictions on players that get no more benefits (supposedly) than the players without restrictions is flat out dumb
 
Not so much is it franchising a player as it is attaching a ball and chain to the player and telling them that "We love you so much, you're such a good player, that if you try to leave our team after your favorite coach leaves, we'll fuck you over. That's how much we value you here."

It's a shitty idea. Why not keep it the way it is now and fuck over everyone?
 
He must have had a late night with Sark and Nansen at the Bellevue Joey's. He was clearly not in a proper state of mind. Lake Union Joey's closed its doors after Sark went South.
