Gerberding was a piece of work ~ an [in my opinion] arrogant administrator that was boorish his notion of correct behavior regarding university activities, athletics and academic freedom for professors and students as well… Don James and Marv and crew coach Dick Erickson were all casualties due to Gererding's moral compass during his tour as president…
Obviously this is different ~ none of us can believe that Hop was not relieved of duties long ago… I wish the guy well as a person but he was never a fit at UW and maybe was never destined to be a head coach.

Hop was no Harshman, that's for damned sure.
No telling how many NCAA runs he could have made were it not for the misfortune of being in the same conference as UCLA's dynasty and the archaic one-bid only tourney.
