My high school had numerous lockers with deep dents from where the tuff WWII/Korean War vets slammed incorrigible students.

That just dented two lockers instead of one.
Coaches had a paddle and they weren't afraid to use it. Locker room shenanigans were allowed to enforce social codes. A guy had a hard on in in the shower once and was left bloody and weeping.
Towel fights were a thing both the snap variety and the tightly knotted soaking wet towel at 90mph. Coaches were expert marksman with the latter.

They have an annual drag queen show at a large public high school here. One of the counselors who organized it was a literal groomer and was convicted of having relations with a 15 year old student. It didn't even faze them. If you have objections, you're a far right bigot or something.
