Former KOMO weather anchor Steve Pool dies

Good man. I did an Apple Cup gig at KOMO 20 years ago and left my marching band hat behind (a shako is it’s proper name). I feverishly sent an email to the weather question inbox on the KOMO website. I got a response saying they’d forwarded the inquiry to Steve Pool since they put it in his office. Steve Pool then enthusiastically emailed me, telling me he’d leave it at the security desk.

Sounds like a Kim move. No judgment.

I hadn’t made that connection, but you’re right. I laughed.

Always a smile on his face. A bright light. The world was a better place with Steve in it.

Good on you, brother
