not Trump. Preserving positive relationships with our allies. not supporting "agencies" run by shithead billionaires that use removing government waste as a cover for an agenda for the world's richest man to get more rich and powerful. disagreeing with Christian fundamentalism and supporting separation of church and state. LGBTQ rights. Gay/trans folks don't affect my life in any way, shape or form and I don't care how they live their lives if everyone's a consenting adult. I do think gender affirming care should wait until you're 18 and should be restricted under that unless in certain doctor-approved scenarios with the parents on board. So I disagree with some progressive dem policy there.
It wasn't a vote for Kamala so much as it was a vote to support many of the issues I agree in. On the flip side I believe in making the government more efficient and removing waste, just not done by Elon's retarded ass. I believe in a strong border, completely overhauling and streamlining the path to citizenship and legal immigration, and stopping the flow of drugs. I think pissing off Mexico/Canada with economic hardship and the moronic 51st state threats are the wrong way to go. maybe it works a little in the short term. they'll also remember it and it could have worse effects long term.
tl;dr I knew Kamala would lose because she was a shit candidate and the Dems fucked up and lost entirely of their own fault. But there is too much of the MAGA-driven current policy change that I morally, economically and diplomatically disagree with and will not support in any way shape or
