UW wouldn’t sign off on him playing. Same thing that happened with Phillips at UCLA. The doctors wouldn’t activate him. Ended his career at Miami Fl because they would let him play.

I didn’t know that. Good for him. He was a good player and it’s too bad we never got to see him as a stud upperclassman. We could have used him badly in 2019. Myles Bryant and him would have a been a great duo at safety.
