But I have a thing against Dodge/Kreisler. It stems from the old days when they were known to be the coldest starting sum bitches on the market. Irrational, I know. But brand loyalty/hatred is a bitch. First impressions and all.

It's safe to say I will likely never own a Dodge ever.

Nope. Better mileage than my non smog duramax LB7. 20 to 22mpg highway rolling 80. It does have 3.42's not 3.73's.

Well the only powerstroke that had real issues like that was the 6.0. I had one and traded it off as the head gasket was about to go. The 6.4 and 6.7 powerstroke have their issues (as all pickups do) but not many need their cabs lifted. I'm still in my 08 Duramax with a tune and EGR/dpf fix. I'm looking for a new one in 2020.

I do like what ram is doing and that big screen that'll be out in 2020 on the HDs looks cool. But they are just so much slower. I pull 14,000 pounds regularly over mountain passes.

Ram 3500 with the AISIN trans vets 900ft lbs of torque. They tow great. Tuners available as well. Your burger stand weighs 14k or your house?
