If you have an issue with life expectancy statistics being used to show how great something is, I suggest you take it up with charts and graphs boy at the top of this page.

You can google "starvation diet" and life expectancy".

After five years of observation, these ordinary hungry people showed a 45 percent lower mortality rate than those who didn 't. This is another example of how we find that regular starvation can lead to improved health and increased life expectancy.

I've posted before of two Cambodians I knew who were there. It was horrendous. 2 million dead is the guess but probably more.
