Silver lining is, at least we saved this season for the 4 team playoff
The 12 team playoff is going to reinvigorate this sport. It is going to be pandemonium when the lower seeds make a run, which will happen.
What’s a lower seed?
It’s going to happen but only because putting only conference winners in the top 4 ensures some good SEC teams will smash their first round opponent and then the below average conference champ.
Ohio State would be seeded #6 this year. Clemson #3. Beating up USC and then Clemson would count as a run for tOSU to make the semis.
Pandemonium? Like we say, no.
