I think you have to back up a bit. Larry turning down espn to produce the games and instead setting up a p12 nw, p12 china, etc. and then trying to get all of those on DTV was fucktarded.

Georgie really fucked up the optics and approach of the tv deal but the bed was made.

I think the correct analogy would be that the bed had already been shit in not made. George tried to get into the bed and shit in it but it was already full of Larry Scott’s old shit. Kalishnikov then paced around the bed for thirteen months worrying that folks would think it was his shit in the bed but we all know whose shit it really was. Funny thing is George was always gonna get in that bed and do the same thing Larry did because George was hired by the same people Larry was hired by. It was always a mute point. The mattress was never coming back after what Larry was allowed to do to it and the bed was always doomed.
