I think we have to accept that Cristobals is actually a good coach. He recruits well and he’s not afraid to play his fucking talent. If Puka had signed there he’d be playing a ton from day one.

such an absolutely winnable game... in fact, all 3 losses this year that were all more than winnable games and all of them were coaches fucking up with bizarre decisions on 4th downs or not utilizing the personnel you have sitting on the sidelines or wildcat plays that are more predictable than sun coming up. This entire year is a colossal coaching let down.

His 2 4th down calls were smart. He read the momentum and decided he needed to pick it up. If you punt there, you probably lose.

He was then smart enough on the next series to punt on 4th & 5 from midfield.

They adjusted in the 1st half after 3 straight 3 & outs and scored a TD. They went to the run after that and made our defense look like high schoolers. That might be an insult to high school players.
 
Peet has lost more Rose Bowls than Oregon has been to. Be careful what you wish for.
