McConnel coming out and saying that they won’t get rid of it. This is a mistake. They should threaten to end it as a negotiating point on something they actually want right away. Like making 9 justices on the Supreme Court the final amount. Then as part of that deal get Democrats to agree on legislation that that filibuster rules as they stand now are made permanent and would require like 90 votes or something to end.
